We are looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Manager to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team in our Finance department. You will be optimising and professionalising a corporate treasury function, focusing on monitoring all current and projected cash inflows and outflows. You will join four dedicated employees in the Financial Planning & Analysis team and report to Director, Christian Bach. The team is part of the larger Finance department in Better Energy along with Group & Business Finance, which holds our Accounting, Tax and Controlling functions. We are a large team of nearly 20 people and we deliver crucial work in all aspects of Finance in Better Energy. From financing the construction of solar parks across Denmark, Poland and Sweden, to securing timely and accurate information that supports the financial decision making in Better Energy. The Finance department navigates a business of increasing complexity and changing environments, so it is a challenging, but exciting place to be.
Not only does the Finance department play an important role in the realisation of Better Energy’s large scale solar projects. We work across our teams and in close cooperation with various company functions, as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all financial aspects are in place for Better Energy’s continued growth. As our Treasury Manager you will be responsible for optimising and professionalising our treasury function. Your responsibility will involve short-term cash and liquidity management, as well as management of our lending facilities. All necessary hedging of currency exposure according to our financial policy will also be part of your responsibilities, as well as optimising and continuing the development of our hedging strategy. Essentially, you will establish and professionalise the various processes that are needed for the treasury function to be successful.
To that extent, a lot of your tasks will entail working across various departments, to make sure you have the overview of current and future cash needs, to fund construction activities and projects. We have 6GW of solar parks in our pipeline, so we need you to use your amazing analytical skills to create overviews and analysis of our cash in- and outflows.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Cash and liquidity management
- Overview and analysis of all projected cash in and outflows
- Management of Better Energy’s various lending facilities
- Day-to-day management of hedging and foreign currency risk policies
- Supporting larger transactions
- Manage bank relationships

The ideal candidate also has:
- Multiple years of experience within treasury
- Preferably experienced in establishing new corporate processes
- Strong user in Excel
- High level of proficiency in English and Danish
- Cand. merc. or similar
